Church Administrator
Position: Church Administrator
Staff Classification: Ministerial/Part-Time
Position Summary: The Church Administrator is responsible for maintaining
church calendar, personnel/volunteer assignments, answering church contacts (Phone, email, & social Media), organizing Pastor’s Calendar, and managing website/social media content.
Responsible To: Lead Pastor
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create/Maintain Church Database (Members/Visitors/Contacts) via Google Address Book
- Create/Maintain Church Calendar for events and regular activities
- Manage Volunteer and Personnel Assignments (i.e. Ushers, Media team, Sound Team,
Praise Teams, Nursery, and Major Events) - Defines and promotes attainable yearly goals for ministry
- Keep records of Finance and Attendance and compile these into Yearly Reports for
members and church leadership - Manage Church Phone
- Provide Administrative Support for Church Calendar Events
- Contribute in casting vision for Connect church with the Lead Pastor
- Form a prayer team that will be dedicated to praying for your work as Church
Administrator - Perform executive, ministerial, and administrative duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
Staff Classification: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)
Sundays: 9 am – 2 pm (Worship Service)
Mondays: 8am – 10am (Meeting w/ Pastoral Leadership
6 pm – 9 pm (Meeting w/ Leaders)
REMOTE HOURS (Support overall church ministry up to 3 hours daily)
Required Skills:
- MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook – Expert
- Experience with Content Management Systems (Word Press)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, including tables, and extensive formulas
- Demonstrated ability to write, edit and proof content
- Ability to prioritize and work on simultaneous multiple complex assignments with
ongoing deadlines - Ability to solve problems with agility, efficiency and grace
- Creative spark – assists the Pastor with the ability to design, create and deliver customized
ministry to reach or community - Excellent Communication Skills to lead staff before events to verify setup.
Technical Specialist
Position: Technical Specialist
Staff Classification: Ministerial/Part-Time
Position Summary: The Technical Specialist is responsible for maintaining
church calendar, personnel/volunteer assignments,
answering church contacts (Phone, email, & social Media),
organizing Pastor’s Calendar, and managing website/social
media content.
Responsible To: Lead Pastor
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and Update Website & Social Media Content
- Manage, Create, and Update Webforms through the E-Giving System.
- Manage, Create, and Update graphics for certificates (baptisms, ordinations, dedications,
etc…) - Manage Cameras, Lighting, Cameras, and Media Presentations with a volunteer team
during worship Services - Manage Volunteer Assignments for Sound, Lighting, Camera, and media presentation
- Create/Maintain Advertisement Campaigns vis Digital Media
- Produce Mass Texting and Social Media Messages
- Provide Technical Support for Church Calendar Events
- Form a prayer team that will be dedicated to praying for your work as Church
Administrator - Perform Technical Support duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

- Ability to prioritize and work on simultaneous multiple complex assignments with
ongoing deadlines - Ability to problem solve with agility, efficiency and grace
- Edit, upload videos into the website, on social media platforms (including YouTube,
Instagram, Twitter, and others) - Able to learn and operate presentation software including Media Shout & camera
system during events - Quickly process feedback from the system and adjust in real-time
- Work well under pressure and complete tasks on time
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Windows OS
- Extensive social media skills (use of various social media platforms including Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, Vimeo and YouTube) - Basic network troubleshooting knowledge
