Minister Lakesha Stripling is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a graduate of the DeKalb County School District. She resides in Snellville, Georgia, with her husband, Minister Lamario Stripling. Together, they are the proud parents of Chloe, Andrew, Joseph, and Kayla. In 2020, their family was further blessed when Aamir joined their lives at the age of five; he has since become a beloved and cherished member of their household. Minister Lakesha holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and Special Education from Gwinnett Technical College. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia State University in 2019, and in 2022 she completed a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of West Georgia. Since 2017, Minister Lakesha has served at South Gwinnett High School, where she works in special education, equipping students with disabilities for greater independence and success beyond the classroom. She also serves as Head Coach of the South Gwinnett High School Girls Track and Field program, using athletics as a platform to mentor, encourage, and develop young women both on and off the track. Minister Lakesha has faithfully served in ministry for more than 15 years. Her ministerial foundation began with the Fellowship Prayer Band under the leadership of the late Mother Estella Boyd. Her distinctive gift for presenting the gospel has opened doors for her to minister at conferences, seminars, worship services, and cross-denominational gatherings. She currently serves at Connect Church in Decatur, Georgia, where she is actively engaged in women’s ministry, Bible study, Sunday school, youth ministry, and the mime and dance ministry. She continues to pursue her passion for choreography, training and ministering alongside youth through praise dance and mime. Minister Lakesha’s heart is to serve rather than to be served. She carries a sincere passion for seeing souls saved, believers discipled, and the brokenhearted restored through the love and transforming power of Jesus Christ.
