Minister Latasha Ward is a dynamic leader, both in her professional life and within her community. Married to Dr. Jéan Ward, pastor of ImPower Church, they navigate a bustling blended family of seven children and two grandchildren, embodying the essence of unity and love. Latasha’s dedication to service is evident in her over seven years of church leadership, where she has passionately taught young adults, lead women’s and children’s ministry, facilitated, and ministered in main services, imparting wisdom and spiritual guidance. In her professional arena, Latasha excels as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and an Adult and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, currently serving as the overseer of a Long- Term Care Facility. Her commitment to healthcare extends further as she is beginning to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Ambitious and forward-thinking, she is also pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Nursing, a testament to her dedication to lifelong learning and excellence in her field. Together with Jéan, Latasha co-hosts numerous functions and manages a Facebook group, “In to me you see” (Intimacy), designed to foster open discussions on relationship topics for both couples and singles. They also oversee and manage various youth groups with a focus of imparting wisdom and mentoring teenagers. Their commitment to nurturing healthy relationships led them to found JLW Healthcare Inc., further blending their passions for healthcare and community service. Latasha’s contributions have not gone unrecognized; she is a proud recipient of The United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Her leadership extends to her role as an Officer of Church Ladies United, a national organization of pastors’ wives, where she continues to inspire and support women in leadership. Additionally, as an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Latasha upholds the values of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood, striving to be a virtuous woman in a world where such qualities are increasingly rare.
